What makes a strong community?
Let us introduce the churches and organizations that help make Lake Benton a great place to live!
[ Churches ]
As you overlook the hills to the southwest, you will see a cross on the hill. It was placed there in 1976 during our nation's Bicentennial, through the united efforts of an ecumenical committee that wanted to give tribute to our rich heritage of faith.

As a visitor, you will be warmly welcomed by any church you choose to attend. Each has a variety of organizations that would enjoy your presence as well. Just call the church office for information.

Lions Club
Organized in 1967, the Lions Club works to help individuals in need of assistance with medical expenses, community projects, and other worthy requests. They also financially support the equipment needs of the University of Minnesota Hospital's sight and hearing wing.

Visions in Progress (V.I.P.)
The V.I.P. organization has promoted the creation of a local Historical Society and may be thought of as a "reanimator" of Lake Benton pride, a developer of new ideas, a protector of our past, and a collector of ideas from the past, present, and future.
