2007 Theme
"A Call to Prayer"
In 2007 we are encouraging one another to be diligent and
spontaneous in our praying, including practicing the Christian discipline of
daily prayer.
Some of the ways we are doing this are including in the bulletin
a weekly prayer note, in the newsletters a section called "Prayer Ministry of
the Month". Our monthly calendar includes a family's name on each day, and
an institutional ministry or special needs on Sundays. During Lent we do a
"Reflection on Prayer" in each Sunday service.
On the drawing board are a Bible Study on Prayer, a Prayer
Service for healing, a weekly prayer ministry group and more.
