ALCW NEWS
COOKBOOKS ARE HERE! Cost is $8.00. Cookbooks will be available at the church. Please - if at all possible, pay for them as you take them. (A sheet will be available for you to sign out books if you want to take some to work, etc., to sell.) Some recipes came in late, so a supplement will be put in the back of the book.

HOMECOMING BAKE SALE
AND BAZAAR
Castlewood 's homecoming is on Friday October 4 from 11:00 to 3:00 at the Community Center so start baking pies and other goodies. The ALCW is
asking everyone to bring a pie and baked goods for the bake sale and
garden or bazaar items. Barbacues, chips, beans, pie and ice cream will be served for lunch. A freewill donation will be asked. Help is needed to set up, price baked goods, cut pies, etc at 9:00am. Help is also needed to
clean-up.
ALCW Guest Night
On Wednesday, October 9th at 8:00pm the ALCW is hosting Guest night. People on the lunch committee are: Sharla Hamen, Chr., Julie Christianson, Marlys Kuntz, Kari Nolte, Ardell Strait, Jeannie Vetter, Jeanette Bohls, Rose Belaun, Sharon Hyde, Rhonda Karst, Darlene Trenary, Roxie Swenson, Lisa Janssen, Lori
Kiihl, Jacki Sandstrom and Vicki Strait.
