Pray for families, for the people of Washington DC area, those who suffer from natural disasters, the  people of Israel and Palestine, the people of Columbia and other war areas, for a faith active in  love in all Christians, for people in need, for the leaders of USA and of all nations toward peace and justice.

"All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for . . ." (2 Timothy 3:16).  Is Scripture useful for you?  Do you use it?   "Whatever was written . . was written for our instruction, so that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of scriptures we might have hope" (Romans 15;4).  Is there any doubt that in our complex and dangerous world we need hope?  God's word is a source of hope.  Parents need hope to raise children, children to look forward to a full life.  We all need hope to press on in life, to be responsible members of our communities.  To choose not to use the Word is like a farmer going out to combine his soybeans without fuel.  Choose hope.  Be a partner in a Bible study group.  Read the Bible with your family.
