Mothers are to be praised so give her the reward she deserves.  How about a hug?, A special card? Breakfast in bed?

VBS will be May 27 - 30 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  Please bring a sack lunch each day.  Fri., May 30, there will be a pot luck supper and program.  Times to be announced later.

  A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by his little daughter, vanessa.  Finally, he tore a sheet out of his magazine on which was printed the map of the world.  Tearing it into small pieces, he gave it to Vanessa, and said "Go into the other room and see if you can put this together."
  After a few minutes, Vanessa returned and handed him the map correctly fitted together.  The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly.  "Oh," she said, "on the other side of the paper is a picture of Jesus.  When I got all of Jesus back where he belonged, then the world came
together.

The Youth would like to thank all those who donated to the raffle.  The winners were:  1/4 beef - Solvei Gasner ; $50.00 HyVee gift card - Emily Gabur ; fleece blanket- Larry Nielsen.  Special thanks to those who donated goods - Adrienne Zimiga & Jurgens Printing for printing the raffle tickets, Neda Ries for the fleece blanket and the family who donated the beef.
