Those present at the church council meeting were Dennis, Roy, Craig, Sherwin, Sharon, Lynn Borer, Pastor John, Rod and Ernie.  Not present were Gareth and Lynn Vetter.
  The church council meeting opened with a presentation from Marvin Schulz from Life Touch Church Directories, followed by a presentation from Sandy Swalve from Olan Mills Church Directories.
  Dennis read the minutes from last month's secretary report. Motion was made by Dennis to approve it and seconded by Craig.
  Church Council had a discussion on the low balance in the General Fund.
  Pastor John gave the Pastor's report. He spoke on the topic of Faith Family Style Project from the South Dakota Synod.  Pastor is caught up on all of his visits.
  Pastor John and Sherwin reported on Vacation Bible School in regards to the date that needs to be set for this year. We will recruit Sunday School teachers this spring for next fall.
  Dennis and Roy are working on getting the stair rail installed at the parsonage. Craig reported that the church bell motor will be replaced sometime soon and the rest of the windows have been ordered for the parsonage.  Sherwin reported that the construction of the baptismal boxes is nearing completion. Lynn Borer reported on the information that he researched on pew Bibles. Sherwin made a motion to approve Olan Mills for our church directory and seconded by Lynn Borer.  Dates will be discussed.
  The money will be returned to the donors for the cable TV broadcast.
  Craig and Roxanne Bass will be the delegates for the SD Synod meeting June 6th - 8th.
  Rod made a motion to add the Bibles to the Memorial Gift list. Seconded by Dennis.

  Craig made the motion that the money for the fellowship in March will be directed to the youth campers. Seconded by Sherwin.
