Does anyone have any fall decorations they would like to bring to help beautify the church?  We could use pumpkins, squash, gourds, etc.  Please have them here by Wed. evening.

The Fellowship offering for the next several Sundays will help support the Watertown Banquet meal which our confirmation classes, parents, and mentors will serve on Monday, November 15th.  Other helpers are always welcome.

Cards to Barbara O’Neill, daughter of Vivian Heidemann, can be sent to her at 1324 Morningside Drive, Ft. Myers, FL 33901.

Registration dates for Lutheran Outdoors Bible Camps have changed.  It is tomorrow, November 1.  Talk with Robin Gabur today.  Later registration may be possible, but as before, some camps may fill up on the 1st day or soon thereafter.  This early registration will help us set budget for camp and help fundraising.

You can buy Equal Trade coffee next Sunday after worship.  If you have a special flavor or type of coffee you want, talk with Jacki Sandstrom.  A fellowship blend will be available for the first time.  The coffee served  October 24 was  French Roast Equal Trade coffee.

ALC’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner is Sunday, Nov. 21st at 11:00 a.m. at ALC.  Come and bring your friends and neighbors.  We need 1 or 2 people to step forward to be co-chair this year and lead the dinner in 2005.  How about you?  Talk to Ernie Karst or Rod Fischer.

You can still get in on the Lutefisk Dinner on December 3, 4, 5, 10, or 11 at NeSoDak Bible Camp to support LO.  Already 7 of us are going to the Sunday, December 5, 12:30 p.m. dinner.  Tickets are $15 for a great meal (including lots of food besides lutefisk, like meatballs, and loads of holiday pastries, etc.).   Call NeSoDak for reservations at 605-947-4440.

Your gift to the “Bring Karl home” fund will help with travel and related expenses incurred to  bring Karl Coning-Madsen back to Sioux Falls.  Use the Tonka truck box in the narthex.  Karl is back home and even in his own home in Sioux Falls.  Thanks be to God and thank you.

Bring your Ronald McDonald House pop can tabs in by November 14.

The Hamlin County Thrivent Annual meeting is here on Sunday, Nov. 14  for all Thrivent members.  A supper will be served by our ALCW.

If you know of anyone in need who should receive warm clothes (caps, mittens, coats, boots, etc.) call Carna Miller or Pastor John soon. The ALCW Fall Bazaar and Bake Sale funds this service activity.

Would you help support campus ministry salaries with an extra gift?  If 12 members of each SD Synod congregation would give $12.00 to SD Synod Campus Ministry, the shortfall in the campus ministry budget would be covered.

There is a benefit Dinner for Lutheran Social services in NE South Dakota on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Sisseton.  Ticket are $9.00 which includes dinner and entertainment.  Call Garnette Aas – 605-698-7636 or Julia Hoefert – 1-800-568-2401, ext 119 for reservations.  All are welcome!

Badger Lutheran Church will be hosting a pork loin sandwich dinner on Sunday, October 31 from 11:00 a.m, to 1:00 p.m. at the Badger Legion Hall.  All proceeds will go to the Rev. Anna Madsen family.  Matching funds will be provided by Thrivent Financial.
