Welcome to Pastor Bob Chell of the Lutheran Center, our SDSU campus ministry and thanks for leading us in worship today.

Pray for our brothers and sisters who are or have been ill: Shelly Walder, Joann Ries, Leola Wenzlick and Walter Kalt. Pray for all who mourn. Pray for peace in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel/Palestine, Nigeria, Columbia and in the entire world. Pray for our military people in Iraq: Tracy Heiser, Todd Moss, Gerry Somsen, Matthew Haug, Dana Walraven, Jay Goldhorn, Cole Namken.

Please pick-up cake and cookie sheets, etc. left in the church.

Hannah Circle has cards. We have lots of pretty napkins – 50 cents per card or box of 12 - $4.50 - $5.00. Call Carna or just stop in – will bring to church so you can take a look.

The monthly communion service in June will be on June 13^th, since Pastor is at the SD Synod Assembly on June 6. Todd Enderson will preach here on June 6.

ALCW need bath towels about 20 x 30, baby toys, Ivory soap – bath size and light rubber gloves. They are for our Global mission – mid-wife kits.

Bible School was held this week. A great big thank you to the VBS leaders, teachers and helpers worked with our children and to those who brought snacks. The children had a delightful time.

All children in grades K-7 are invited to the Community Vacation Bible School June 7-11^th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. VBS program will be Sunday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m. It is located at the Castlewood First Presbyterian Church. Bring a sack lunch. For more information see the flyer on the bulletin board.

We are considering a "Church Camping Event" for later this summer, maybe in July. We would like to test for interest. It would probably be for Friday-Sunday camp out at an area state park. People would bring campers or tents to camp together. There are tents to borrow for these without tents. Perhaps some meals would be on our own, some shared as a whole group; plenty of time for boating, beach, fishing, visiting, playing, worship times. Those who aren’t into camping could join us for a major meal or main worship service. If you are interested in camping or coming for a meal and/or worship, please sign up in the narthex.

Bible Camp Youth will be cleaning the church on Thursday, June 3 at 9:30 a.m. Supporting Funds from Thrivent Join Hands and the ALCW. If anyone would like to help, it would be appreciated.
