Pray for our brothers and sisters who are or have been ill, including: Dawn Sikkink, Leola Wenzlick, Jo Hemmingson, Robert Greenfield, Joann Ries, Shelly Walder, April Oswald. Pray for those who grieve, especially for Lynn and Kristy Borer & family at the death of Lynn’s mother. Pass the word. Our worship service is on television again! See it on ITC Cable TV in Castlewood on Channel 1 on Thursdays at 7 p.m. and soon also at 12:30 p.m. Do you want to check a thought from the sermon? Check it out on the cable broadcast. LO Camp Sunday will be Jan. 11th. Offerings received last Sunday totaled $1,147.00 in the General Fund $101.00 in the Building Fund , $10.00 in the Mission Fund and $23.00 Fellowship. Please, sign up now on the narthex clipboard to serve fellowship, read lessons, or assist with Holy Communion in 2004. Pastor John and Jacki invite you to a Christmas Reception in the fellowship hall after service today. Youth will be going caroling today. Meet at the church at 2;30 p.m.. All are welcome. BBQ’s & hot chocolate will be served after caroling at the church. We invite you to the Nativity of our Lord Candlelight Eucharist Service on Christmas Eve, December 24 at 7:00 p.m. Please have items for the newsletter to the office today. Thank you! Offering envelopes are in your mail boxes, please pick them up. If you were missed and would like offering envelopes please contact Pricilla at 793-2356. Consider bringing a mission offering on January 4, Communion Sunday of non-perishable food for the Hamlin County Food Pantry. It is especially appropriate to share "daily bread" when we receive "the Bread of Life" in such a special way. Sunday School will resume on January 4. Let’s all get together to learn about Jesus and the difference he makes for us that we might make a difference for him. Adult Bible Class will not be held today, but will continue on January 4, The theme will still be "Christmas, The Real Story". In the January 11th, Baptism of our Lord, we will bless all the children who have been baptized in the last year. We ask parents to be sure to be here with their newly baptized children on that day. For directions and more information about the live nativity "He Came for You" is on the board in the narthex. Today from 2:00 – 4:00 is the last chance to see it. Make sure you dress warm! On Sunday, January 4, gifts given in memory of loved ones and friends in the past year will be dedicated for service in God’s house. These include communion trays and clothes, altar cloth, acolyte crosses, cordless microphones, Bibles, and the following funds: general, building, choir, youth, mission, Sunday school and ALCW. Annual meeting will be on January 18, 2004 after the
